Science has mapped DNA and grad students and scientists are cutting and splicing it routinely in labs all over the world now. They’ve found the gene that turns on fluorescent colors in some animals and that they pass the trait to their offspring. While I am light years away from anything that intricate and detailed, I can make a couple changes of my own, and not fool around with Mother Nature.
My wife, however, is unimpressed. As long as I have the power to continue to take the garbage to the curb on Wednesday, she’ll be happy.
On a completely unrelated note, Clearview’s baseball and softball teams are finally able to play some games. Mother Nature is becoming more cooperative, and they played two home games yesterday. Their respective pages will be continually updated throughout the season.
