The Spitzer Conference Center at LCCC was the site of the Lorain County Beautiful Awards Tuesday night. “The Lorain County Beautiful Awards has been recognizing properties for their beauty and aesthetic contribution to the overall quality of life in LorainCounty for the past eighteen years.”

Settlers’ Watch was nominated for Community Service: Any volunteer project for the betterment of the community such as community garden projects, beautification teams, etc.

  1. When we saw the pictures of ALL nominated I thought it was an honor to just be included!

    This is a testament to what one person can do to make a difference. Loraine was the leader but in today’s society the efforts of the volunteers need to be noted.

    The award picture of Settlers’ Watch will be shown at City Hall.

That is right Bryan and a lot of other people and groups also come out regularly to weed and mulch – put in paths ( Bryan and Mark etc) 🙂 and the Boy Scouts etc. just too many to mention although I think Mark did a great job in his post. Anway alone nothing could happen but “creative connectivity ” can work wonders THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!
