PhotoPhun Challenge: Vanishing Point

I got to choose the challenge for this week’s PhotoPhun Challenge, and I wanted to see what we could find that fit the “Vanishing Point” category.

The sidewalk along the Lofton Henderson Bridge.

This set of tracks is over by the boat launch on Broadway.

Dug this one out of the archives, from a recent visit to Washington, D.C.

Don’t forget to go check out Buster’s Momma to see what she got!!

  1. Great pictures, Mark!
I’m glad to see that you got out and about, too. I was sure that you were sending the rest of us out to stand in the middle of roads & RR tracks while you remained safely at home, working your PS magic. πŸ˜‰
Did you try to get a shot from between the two sets of tracks? My first RR shot was the tracks @ BRL, but they vanished in the grass before they came to a point. The multiple track shots we tried didn’t seem to come out as good as the single tracks.

    Next week’s challenge coming soon!

  2. You silly, Lisa. I’m not that good with PS, but I’m getting there.

I looked at the 2nd set, but it had a connector in it, and goofed up the continuity? of the shot. Looking forward to it.

I’m thinkin’ about inviting some of the folks from over at Flickr. Some are just starting out and they’re from Lorain, maybe get’em a little extra exposure, and some practice.

  3. Since Chuck has changed his mind about picking the next challenge, I’m up.

It’s time for a “word association” challenge.
Let’s see a picture of what comes to your mind when I say the word…..smooth.
