Ladies and Gentlemen, Please Welcome: A Flock of Seagulls!

No, sorry, with my budget, did you really think I could afford the 80’s band A Flock of Seagulls?

  1. …….Henery on drums, and I could see myself looking like the lead guitarist with big glasses and hi-collar and all……:)

  2. They’re so cute when they’re not stealing the food from your picnic basket. The birds I mean, not the band. Please tell me none of you had that hairstyle!!

  3. Not me!

They are bold though, aren’t they?

My kids and I were feeding the gulls at Lakeview once and we were told that giving them bread will make them sick. If we didn’t stop we could get fined.

    Figger that one out.

  4. H – The story behind feeding them (I hear) is that most people feed them old bread, it’s already started to go stale and that causes health issues with the critters.
V-I think Henery and Muley might be out looking for Pic a Nic Baskets… ehh Boo Boo?

  5. Thanks for that, Paula. I always stopped and bought fresh bread when the kids and I would feed the gulls. I always wondered because so many people feed the ducks and geese at Mill Hollow, and that’s a MetroPark, and nothing has ever been said or done to discourage that practice.

If I remember correctly, he said the birds could get botulism from the bread.

    Nice Yogi impression, too!
