Al Gore Can Kiss My…..

A fact that most of you are more than aware of, it’s been snowing like a son of a gun the last two days. I’m sure it’ll be snowing even more, well after this post gets published. This, coupled with the scientist I’d heard interviewed on the radio the other day, who said that the ice around Greenland and Antarctica covers more area now than in the last 30 years, and that the Earth’s temperature had NOT risen in the last 9, makes me want to tell Al Gore to….well, you know.  So, while the kids and I were shoveling snow, I had the camera handy. Stay warm.

Not just snowflakes, but snow beads

How long can this defy gravity??

A friend stopped over for dinner

Gravity? Does it exist???

  1. Specifically, the “consensus” about anthropogenic climate change entails the following:

    1) the climate is undergoing a pronounced warming trend beyond the range of natural variability;
    2) the major cause of most of the observed warming is rising levels of the greenhouse gas CO2;
    3) the rise in CO2 is the result of burning fossil fuels;
    4) if CO2 continues to rise over the next century, the warming will continue; and
    5) a climate change of the projected magnitude over this time frame represents potential danger to human welfare and the environment.

    These conclusions have been explicitly endorsed by:

  2. That’s wonderful, brewski, and thanks for the info.

    There is also a group, growing in number, that thinks this entire ‘warming trend’ is natural, and that the Earth goes through these cycles on a regular basis.

    Word on the street is that these same folks crying about ‘warming’ sounded the alarms about ‘cooling’ 30 years ago.

    Any comment about that?

  3. What an impressive list. I suppose none the supporters have political agendas. And that none of them have financial agendas such as multi-billion dollar global warming research grants. And none of them are government rent seekers. And none of them see global warming as a great marketing opportunity. And none of them might simply be wrong.

    By the way, great title for this post 😉

  4. I can see your point here Machine Gun
    These all seem to be getting multi billion dollar global warming grants, especially that last entry on this list, MMMMMMMMMMM PIE
